The latest SurveyUSA results are out and the numbers reveal that Mitch McConnell and Bruce Lunsford are neck and neck.
- McConnell 50%
- Lunsford 46%
Margin of Error = 4%
Among men, McConnell leads by 8; Among women he leads by 2.
Lunsford leads young voters (age 18-34) by 11 points and leads in the Louisville area by 13 points.

Um, wasn’t everybody freaking out just a couple weeks ago about a Survey USA poll that had Lunsford AHEAD of McConnell?
Been a while since I took algebra, but I’m pretty sure four points behind is worse, not better, than four points ahead.
No polls really matter before October, but the fact that Lunsford is falling behind is probably significant.

Trust me, this SurveyUSA poll has the McConnell folks crapping their pants.
