It’s time for another contest. This time we’re making it fun– for geeks.
So, between now and Friday, June 20 you may guess the name of the veteran newscaster in the silhouette below. Hint: It’s an image from their college days in the 1970s. On or about the 20th we’ll post a photo revealing the identity of the newsie in question and award the winner.
The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate courtesy of Page One and LouisvilleBestDeals for dinner at Palermo Viejo, one of Louisville’s hottest restaurants.

- Must be willing to drive to Louisville for dinner and let us know how it is
- Leave a comment on this post with your guess at the reporter’s name
- Use a valid email address in the email field so we can contact you if you’re a winner
- The contest is open to everyone and we won’t reveal who the winner is if you don’t wish to be named
- Don’t tell us this is cheesy. We already know.
- Like you, we’re not wealthy, so don’t complain about the amount. It’s free if you win. Free.

That’s either Tito Landrum or Pascual Perez. Some definite activator going on there.

I’m thinking Barry Bernson. Maybe he did have hair, and lots of it in the 70′s.

Veteran reporter who was in college in the 70s.
Reporter, not anchor. There are very few of them who have actually gotten to stick around through the years.
They’re from Louisville.

Okay, Jake, you know this is not my real email address and you also know how to contact me. The photo is of Mark Hebert. Gawd, don’t we all wish photos from the 70s were in a landfill with leisure suits and Speedos?

Ok, I was going to guess Mark Herbert , but “alan” beat me to it. Does this still count as entry?

If it’s a veteran political reporter, I’ll say Al Cross. (You never said it was a TV reporter.)
