Beshear, Moore, Smith Still Making Excuses?

June 4th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Please! Just grow some damn balls.

We told you earlier that Steve Beshear, Jennifer Moore and Nathan Smith are still pretending that they’re trying to make up their mind about whom to endorse as superdelegates.

So. Think on that for a few. And then take a look at this story about the deadline set by Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to force superdelegates to hurry the eff up and make their decision known.

The brief statement, according to the Times, says: “The voters have spoken … Democrats must now turn our full attention to the general election. To that end, we are urging all remaining uncommitted super delegates to make their decisions known by Friday of this week, so that our party can stand united.”

All three [of Kentucky's superdelegates] said they wouldn’t decide until after Tuesday’s final primaries in South Dakota and Montana.

Beshear hadn’t received a copy of Dean, Pelosi and Reid’s communication, said the governor’s spokesman Dick Brown. “But he is aware of it.”

Brown said Wednesday morning that Beshear hasn’t come to his conclusion. “I think he’s still weighing his decision.”

How tired are these excuses going to get? JUST DO IT ALREADY.

Nathan Smith has held fundraisers for Hillary Clinton and is openly backing her as a caucus delegate. Steve Beshear has continued with his same line of petty excuses. And KDP Chair Jennifer Moore has more or less aligned herself with Clinton throughout the primary. They all three need to get over themselves.

Today. The time has come. Piss or get off the pot as Democratic leaders.

Vote Clinton and get it over!

As a reminder to your readers, I am running for re-election to the KDP State Central Committee as committeeman for the 3rd CD. As could be expected, the powers-that-be in Frankfort have a slate established which does not include my name. If you know anyone who is a 3rd CD State-delegate, which are those who were elected back on April 12, please put in a word for me – that is if you are supporting me. If you are supporting the KDP backed slate, disregard this message.

    Thanks.

It’s unfortunate that the KDP would want to oust the only person in the state who has actually tried to improve the image of the party and educate Democrats.

What caused this, a personal disagreement with someone?

These ridiculous “black lists” need to stop in Frankfort.

Oh well, now their superdelegate positions don’t really mean anything do they. I think they were just afraid their poll ratings would go down if they endorsed Barack O, which they should have done on Tuesday night.
