The final SurveyUSA poll of the primary is out and Bruce Lunsford is ahead of Greg Fischer by 21%. Michael Cassaro, who doesn’t pay his campaign staff, is at 3%.

It’s so shocking because she’s such a political expert, I really thought she was right when she said Fischer had all the momentum and was going to win.
I guess Lunsford was wise in calling off the assassination…

As a good Democrat my desire would be for our nominee (whomever) to win. However my own estimate of the political landscape (and personal honesty) indicates that this is unlikely.
In the same vein I also think that as far as candidates go, yet another defeat of Lunsford in a statewide election should weight heavily on the minds of the KDP establishment before they trot out the ususal suspects in support of any future Lunsford campaign.
So really, some good may come out of this election after all.

You’re all forgetting that at the very least Bruce will force McConnell to spend his campaign wad in Kentucky instead of using it in other areas of the country.

I honestly think just about anyone could have forced that kind of defense from McConnell; especially with the general unpopularity of republicans and the ant-incumbent mood of the country.

UK: Just about now one has Lunsford-caliber money. What Greg Fischer has is chump change by comparison. My point is Lunsford’s money can work for the Democratic Party no matter what.

Williams will recieve more than 4% of the vote tommorow. He had more votes then everyone except Jack Conway in a previous race state wide. what happened to Fischer and all his wealth? Andrew Horne should have been the canidate! Rice idiot) Wylie is death and has to have some read his info) Williams has to speak through a voice box. I could have run for senate and beat these guys!
