Greg Fischer has been up for a few days with his final television spot of the U.S. Senate primary and he’s touting his endorsements.

In the ad he pushes endorsements from the Herald-Leader, organized labor and veterans groups. We took a look at Fischer’s endorsement page and saw that he’s endorsed by four localized labor groups, which is fine, but didn’t find any endorsement from any prominent veterans group or specific veteran. Does anyone have details on that? Do candidates just get to tout veteran support after one or two veterans start to support them these days? Is that how it works? When it comes to veterans’ issues, Fischer only seems to be able to link to a package about the G.I. Bill.
Conversely, we took a look at Bruce Lunsford’s endorsement page and found that at least 18 labor groups in their entirety have provided their endorsement. Along the Courier-Journal and the Kentucky Enquirer. When it comes to veterans’ issues with Lunsford, however, he actually seems to have a plan and gets specific.
