See for yourself:
Rep. Greg Stumbo, the Prestonsburg Democrat who is a former House majority floor leader, said he will not seek election to Wilkey’s whip job.
“I have no intention to do that. Some people who I am close to, I believe, are interested in that job,” Stumbo said.
As for whether he will run for another leadership position, Stumbo said, “I’m going to assess the situation. I’m getting some encouragement from more and more members saying our leadership needs to be united.”
This is on top of reports from several members of the legislature that Stumbo has told them he’ll seek Jody Richards’ spot as Speaker of the House.

I will be happy to see Jody go. We need a House leader with balls.

Jake, I started corrected. I thought for sure he’ll start with the Whip!
