I’m a bit suspicious of the $48k he donated to Democrats last year. Looks like a C-Y-A move to me, as it’s more than 3x what he’d given to Democrats in any year before that.

Jake,

I appreciate what you’re saying here, but I personally have never been a supporter of the ‘clap louder’ school of politics.

I speak only for myself- there’s not much about Bruce Lunsford that excites me as a candidate. When you factor in Bruce’s difficult past events and allegiances; as well as McConnell’s political assets- then I think you have a recipe for real electoral trouble. Clearly I’m not the only one who see’s this.

This is not a statement about ‘what could have been’ but a coldly rational look at the existing lay of the land. Some will call it ‘bashing’ Bruce; I think of it as just pointing out the particular color of lipstick applied to this situational pig.

There’s no argument here with me that it’s $32K too much. It’s just too much.

But giving money to Republicans doesn’t make you an evil person in Kentucky. It makes you just like everybody else– including Greg Fischer.

My personal opinion, that’s $32,350.00 too much.

I feel myself to be a good Democratric Party person and will act accordingly, but don’t hand me Kool Aide from the Jonestown cafeteria and tell me everything is peachy.
