In a story on National Journal’s Hotline On Call from Morehead (Yes, Morehead! Our original hometown. Made national press. We love it.) about former President Bill Clinton’s visit to Kentucky, we noticed something that totally prevents us from remaining silent on the matter today.
Check out Heather French Henry’s comments:
Heather French Henry, a former Miss America and wife of former Kentucky Lieutenant Governor Steve Henry, joined Clinton at two of his stops. Speaking before the Maysville event, she recalled how Clinton singled her out for her work on behalf of veterans when he was president. And, she took a swipe at Barack Obama as she praised Hillary for her advocacy for veterans.
“Now see, I know that some out there may have the audacity to hope, but Sen. Hillary Clinton has the audacity to actually do the work that it takes to be the next president of the United States,” she said.
Let’s just go ahead and say it: Heather French Henry is a tired has-been, just like her husband, and needs to leave politics once and for all. She has no future.
I guess being sued by her publisher for allegedly pocketing $400,000 wasn’t enough to shut her ego up. Nor was allegedly losing all of her television work thanks to the actions of her husband. But we can’t say anything else, sadly, for obvious reasons.
Let’s just go ahead and say this, though: You should support Barack Obama for president if for no other reason than Steve and Heather French Henry are backing Hillary Clinton. Birds of a feather. Don’t forget it. Birds. Of. A. Feather.

I am a strong supporter of Barack Obama. However, bashing the competition by name-calling her supporters is astoundingly childish. In fact, ethics and integrity are two of the primary characterstics which raise Obama light years ahead of HRC.

“Drew” – I guess you haven’t been paying attention.

That’s rare. Ususally, it would read Barack Osama.
Reminds me, have they found Obama bin ladin yet?

Jake, please enlighten me. How would you compare the three candidates from an ethics and integrity perspective?

I don’t know why all the hostility expressed here about HFH.
But I will tell you why I dislike her politically.
She used to be a Republican. She comes from a strong Republican family. She changed her registration because she was marrying a prominent Democrat official. She was not willing or able to stand up for her own beliefs and opinions but she changed her registration to match that of her husband. She was a Republican when she started dating Steve Henry and he knew she was a Republican.
If the woman is not willing to stand up for her own beliefs and convictions under that circumstance, who’s to say she woudn’t change positions on a whim if she ever got elected?

George McGovern’s family was Republican. Bob Dole’s were Democrats.
Oh, snap, I thought we were discussing Hillary’s family…but still…

Heather’s personal actions linked to in this story should be enough to tell you that she isn’t fit to give a speech let alone hold public office.

Cry Baby? Who are you, and why do you work so hard to give the uneducated a bad reputation?

No idea who “Cry babies” is but they’re right – Google is your friend in this instance. Dig a little deeper into Henry’s recent past.
Or hell, just ask me privately. As if the links in this story don’t already point you in the direction you need to go in.

I chucked when I heard that Bill “BUBBA” Clinton called her Heather Smith!

I know this is awful but it’s just a joke. I wonder if Bill Clinton knew he was meeting HFH in Morehead as opposed to for morehead.

OK, so we shouldn’t support HFH politically because somebody sued her (lawsuits represent only one side of a complaint, and what’s the latest on that anyway?), and because of who she’s married to.
That’s like saying one shouldn’t support Hillary because her husband committed perjury and was impeached for it.
Steve, it’s one thing to be of different thought politically than members of your family traditionally are/were. But to change your registration because your husband’s in politics and he’s of a different party — and especially when your previous party is more in line with your major issues (military/veterans) than the party you’re switching to — it just tells me that she’s hollow and malleable and has no core values.

Jake’s response at 12:32 used those two words “paying attention.” Whatever happened to him?
17 Paying Attention // Mar 27, 2008 at 1:01 pm
SHE has been quietly watching from behind the scenes as Steve and Heather French Henry walk a tight rope in the massive investigation into their potentially nefarious behavior.

Three minutes. That’s rather remarkable. We – you and I – last exchanged emails on April 10, 2007. I’ve not seen your handle since that day. And all it took was three minutes here. Three minutes. Rather chilling. Like the water in North Elkhorn Creek.

Forks: It only took 30 seconds for me to call her.

I had a message on my answering machine from HFH about her support for the Clinton machine. Yeah – HFH loves her children so much that she’ll support the very ones who fought for abortion – and yeah she loves her husband so much that she’ll support the husband who blantantly cheats and humilates his wife around the world and then Hillary stays with the idiot and is then publically awarded a senator position in return. If anyone has Heather’s email address or website (I looked but couldn’t find it), I’d love to have it so I can respond to her personally. All I see in Heather and Steve are two smiley faces waiting for any camera to come around.

Heather’s website is easy to find. Sounds as though alot of you are jealous of her. You folks obviously do not know her. Sad that this is all you have to do, is come to a blog and bash a person who has done much to help others.

Well, “Larry” (or is it “Joanne”? *cough* Heather’s Dad *cough*), all right for commenting on a story from March 26, 2008.
Heather French Henry hasn’t spent a DIME on veterans. Look at her organization’s IRS reports. Not one dime.
But SHE certainly profits.
Heather also defrauded her publishing company – Cubbie Blue – and they sued her. Based on court records, she still hasn’t paid them back OR fulfilled her contract. All in the name of veterans.
But thanks for the bullshit spin.
