Could we embarrass ourselves any more? Fayette County Democrats had the flipping opera or whatever sing at their yearly gathering a few weeks ago. Who did we get? Tony Lindauer, Louisville’s PVA, who can’t sing at all and does nothing but embarrass himself and everyone else during his loud, comedic attempts. How classless can Kentucky’s largest city be when we allow that man to sing at an event put on to honor Governor/Senator Wendell Ford? Come on.

Stop it, Tony! Stop singing in public. It’s embarrassing and just plain awful. Stop. Our ears are still ringing like two days later.

Rumor has it that Lindauer completely queened out and had the KDP’s former political director call up the Ford Dinner committee to complain that he wasn’t asked to sing at the event (his wife was on the committee, not sure why she didn’t speak up if she knew her husband would throw such a hissy fit.) Of course, this was all after another good singer with a touching story to tell was invited and scheduled to perform. Imagine how much fun it was to tell a woman who has done nothing but suffer through crisis after crisis for the past few years that she’s been canceled because Tony Lindauer needs an ego trip or whatever.

How bout them apples, Tony? Stop singing in public and we’ll stop telling like 50,000 people that you’re a whiny little kid parading around as an elected official who will probably jack our property taxes after read this.
