“Uhhh…..I should have delivered that better……..what the crap?”

Christ where in the hell is this from? Is this guy completely oblivious or retarded?!

  • 2 John Brady // Feb 22, 2008 at 7:27 pm

This is Exhibit A in why bloggers shouldn’t breed.

  • 3 Paul McCartney // Feb 22, 2008 at 7:34 pm

    I don’t get it. Do I have a reputation I don’t know about?

  • 4 John Brady // Feb 22, 2008 at 7:38 pm

Stop laughing Paul. I mean, what the crap?!?!

  • 5 Paul McCartney // Feb 22, 2008 at 7:38 pm

    Get built, Brady!

Are there any Bruins in the House?!?!?!?!?

  • 8 Paul McCartney // Feb 22, 2008 at 7:48 pm

This reminds me of the summer of 1959. I was performing in a school talent show and was talking about going into the music industry. I said “Now I’m going into that industry, but I’m staying the heck away from LA.” This guy not only mischaracterized my love of laughter, but he stole my material.

Another plagiarists!!!!! You Democrats can’t come up with anything original.

  • 10 John Brady // Feb 22, 2008 at 8:11 pm

In rehab for pot?!?!? I sucked dick for coke!

  • 11 flubby // Feb 22, 2008 at 8:45 pm

Wow, his “comedy” is as entertaining as his “rap”. And by “entertaining” I mean “excruciatingly shitty”.

You call that a routine? I call it an act.
There’s no humor in ‘What the crap?’

Lazy Tuesday is like a white guy trying to dance,
haven’t seen such bad acting since
    Michael Rappaport in True Romance

I’m just starting to work on my stand-up act…improv/sketch material is better but that isn’t a one person act.

But I’ve got thick skin to handle the negative criticism but until the critics are actually on stage performing…STFU.

I’ve done three open mics before with well recieved audiences. Of course, my humor works better in places like Chicago, NYC, LA.

  • 14 Daniel // Feb 23, 2008 at 7:29 pm

And Lazy Tuesday was RUSHED into production. I’m man enough to admit that.

    Keep me away from editing.

    CHECK IT.

  • 16 Whoa... // Feb 23, 2008 at 10:34 pm

humor? was anything in that supposed to be funny?

  • 17 Paul McCartney // Feb 24, 2008 at 10:02 pm

You know what else was rushed into production? Help! But we didn’t bitch about it, and look how that turned out!

  • 18 John Brady // Feb 24, 2008 at 10:10 pm

Is there some huge underground retarded comic scene in L.A., NY, and Chicago that I didn’t know about?

  • 19 Jim Morrison // Feb 24, 2008 at 10:11 pm

Get bent Paul, we recorded our first album in under a week!

John went out like with a whimper by the way, everyone knows you have to go out in a flash and under 30.

Posers…if you stand the heat, get out of the kitchen

  • 22 Whoa... // Feb 25, 2008 at 10:24 am

Seriously Daniel, do you really believe you’re funny?

  • 23 Daniel // Feb 25, 2008 at 10:45 am

Whoa, what are you, a coward? Seriously, people actually use their names these days in comments…

  • 24 Whoa... // Feb 25, 2008 at 11:07 am

    No, really they don’t.

  • 25 The Dude // Feb 25, 2008 at 4:11 pm

I love this guy. He was great as McLovin in Superbad!

Daniel is funny. I’m not sure if he always means to be, but the result is the same either way.

Seriously though, Daniel is out there trying to do his thing, laying it all on the line and he’s not worried if he looks like a tool at some points in the process.

Deep down, you gotta respect that. Most of us are too chickensh#t to really go for it because we are afraid of failure.

Keep in there McLovin, remember that Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team.

  • 26 Daniel // Feb 25, 2008 at 6:28 pm

Dude, thanks. You’re the second person to compare me to an Apatow movie character. Someone in the Louisville Cards forums said I reminded them of the 40 Year Old Virgin.

In Seinfeld’s first open mic, he walked off the stage unable to deliver his lines. He just delieverd the topics and walked off.

  • 27 Zack // Feb 29, 2008 at 10:01 pm

Leave Daniel alone. He has succeeded on stage and in music videos. Daniel, don’t let this negativity slow you down. I SINCERELY look forward to your next project. Keep up the GREAT work!

  • 28 Daniel // Mar 3, 2008 at 2:20 pm

    Thanks, Zack!

  • 29 Ryan // Mar 3, 2008 at 2:21 pm

I agree with Zach and if you do the research, Judd Apatow failed at stand-up comedy so maybe you’re not just a Judd Apatow character, your actually the next Judd Apatow.

  • 30 me // Mar 3, 2008 at 3:16 pm

    daniel,
i caught myself laughing at you moreso than with you. but funny is funny. realize what makes people laugh and stick with it. keep it up. it takes balls to do what you’re doing.

  • 31 Chucknorristotalgym // Mar 4, 2008 at 8:42 pm

Keep trying! I think to make it in LA, NY, or Chicago you would have to be funny. I would think in Guantanamo Bay would be a great venue for him. Terrorist would break in the first 30 seconds of his monologue. The CIA may compensate you. There would be no more need for water-boarding.

Instead of pleading a spoof/try insanity first. Leave the spoofs to Christopher Guest. Your obscure references and delivery seems like Dennis Miller meets Richie Farmer.

You are going to be the next Ghyslain “Star Wars Kid” Raza. Wasn’t that his excuse. Except Raza has 10 times more comedic talent.

You need to seek out the humor coach that Borat used. Then maybe we will see you in 2nd City Comedy Troupe (the 2nd City is not Georgetown in Scott Co.- hhhhaaahahaha!!!!) I just created a real rib buster. I’m sorry if I went over your head there. Only if you live in NY, LA, or Chicago it would be funny.

When I see you on Sat Night Live; you will have to remember that the participants of this board will have been your muse.

For a limited time only (15 minutes) Come see Daniel Solzman- A comedian and more so an expert in Human Torcher- Stand-up or Sit-down comedy. He will be preforming Wed 3/6- from 4:15pm to 4:30pm beside pump #4 at
