It’s Official: Bruce Lunsford Is In

January 29th, 2008 · 10 Comments

Bruce Lunsford is filing paperwork with the Secretary of State to run for the U.S. Senate. Lunsford, the two-time failure of a gubernatorial candidate thinks he has a shot against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Unfortunately, Bruce has a lot of baggage from a scandalous past in business and fast-lane lifestyle. It’s doubtful money-hungry Achim Bergmann (head of the 527 Bluegrass Freedom Fund who raised concern when he began working on Bruce’s campaign while still involved with the group, which we hear may be the source of an upcoming FEC complaint) will be able to put together a great communications team to combat it all like he did in 2007’s gubernatorial primary. Without a great team Bruce won’t sound like he has an idea about what’s going on. No one can dispute that’s what he had last year. We can personally attest to it.

More on Bruce Lunsford and his scandalous ways after the jump…

For more on Bruce:

Lunsford faces Andrew Horne and Greg Fischer (along with Kenneth Stepp, Michael Cassaro, James E. Rice, David Wylie and crazy David L. Williams) in the Democratic primary. How many millions will he waste losing this go round? How long til organized labor goes off the deep end?

So, Kentucky, how bout it? Interested in allowing Bruce to buy this election? Is Bruce ready for everything to hit the fan?

Stick with us throughout 2008 as we delve into the world of Bruce Lunsford. It’s not pretty.

Get ready for it. This isn’t 2003. Or 2007. It’s 2008 and the entire Democratic Party is out to get him.

Everyone can thank Governor Steve Beshear for this asnine development. I plan on voting for a Republican for Governor next time around. Beshear isnt a true Democrat obviously.

To all the trolls we’ve had to delete so far:

No, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being money hungry. We all are. It’s just worthy of being pointed out. It’s the American way.

    Carry on.

I’m pretty sure I’m the only citizen of Kentucky that chose not to run for US Senator.

Beshears motives are to be questioned. I do not trust him anymore.

Andrew Horne is finished and Greg Fischer has no hope.

    Horne should drop out now.

I remember one time seeing a guy named Gregg (with two Gs) who always claims to be a Democrat along Bardstown Road standing with and promoting the candidacy of a guy named May who was the Republican PVA running against Tony Lindauer. So, this wont be the first time “Gregg” has stopped being such a good Democrat.

Maybe now all the no-names will get out of the race.

This should be a Horne/Lunsford match, as they are the only two with any hope of beating McConnell in November.

I am not a sheep. If that makes people mad so be it. I believe it is the reason that 19 percent of people vote in Jefferson County. They are disgusted with and disillusioned by the partisan crap.
    When will things change?
