Barack Osama & Huckabee-Jesus!

January 4th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Arianna Huffington wrote this wonderful story after Barack Obama won in Iowa yesterday.

Hillary must be scrambling from dizziness after coming in third.

And it’s Huckabee-Jesus ’08!

So. We totally called the Obama-Huckabee victories two days ago in an email to our Intrepid Reporter.

And we don’t think Iowa matters that much.

Thoughts?

    Jake:

David Brooks has a great piece on the night that summed up what I wish I was smart enough to come to first. It’s worth the read at NY times.

It matters a whole lot if you are John Edwards. He is done for in this race for the presidency, which most likely means that his political career is also finished. You can’t see him as being a viable fundraiser moving forward and without money and the free press attention he would have recieved from an Iowa win moving forward I don’t see him doing very well in the future.

Also, does anyone think it is kind of interesting that the winners were both on meet the press this Sunday.
