What? MORE Vets for Freedom Crap? Right here at home.

Page One has learned that AIPAC will host a fundraiser at tax-exempt, partially taxpayer-funded Jewish Hospital in downtown Louisville on September 10. Its “honored” guest will be none other than Dan Senor, original architect and spokesperson for the Iraq debacle who disbanded the Iraqi army and “lost” $6 Billion. The same Dan Senor who was a part of the controversial Vets for Freedom and the Carlyle Group.

A reader questions whether or not a partisan, indicted (convicted?)-for-espionage political organization like AIPAC should be able to benefit from and have its fundraiser at Jewish Hospital. That’s a good question to ask and is worthy of further examination.

Why not avoid controversy and hold the event at a private location like a downtown hotel?

It’s amazing that the venerable Jewish Hospital would allow itself to be stained in this manner. This sounds like a great opportunity for a good old-fashioned demonstration.
